Foundations of Legal Analysis 

Alison Leigh Epilone is the Principal Law Clerk to Hon. Cheryl A. Joseph, Court of Claims Judge, Acting Supreme Court Justice and Supervisor of the Matrimonial Parts of Suffolk County. Prior to joining Judge Joseph, Ms. Epilone was in private practice for 10 years where she practiced primarily in the fields of matrimonial and family law. While in private practice she was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for 5 consecutive years.
 
She received her J.D., cum laude, from Touro Law Center, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Moot Court Board. Since her graduation in 2008, she has continued her involvement and with the Moot Court Board by serving as a judge in the annual Bainbridge Moot Court Competition and coaching students in both national and regional competitions.
 
Ms. Epilone has been an adjunct professor at Touro Law Center since 2013 and has taught the American Legal Studies Practicum, Foundations of Legal Analysis and Legal Process I. Most recently, Ms. Epilone assisted in the creation of the Advanced Judicial Clinic in Matrimonial Law.
