Biography
Professor Crincoli is on leave and will return to Touro Law in the Fall of 2015.

Professor Shawn M. Crincoli joined the faculty at the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2007, where he currently teaches business and commercial law, law & economics, sports law, and the ethics of lawyering in “corporate America.” From 2001-2007, Professor Crincoli was a faculty member at the University of Minnesota School of Law. Prior to teaching at UMN, he clerked for Chief Judge Richard A. Posner, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Professor Crincoli has written and lectured on a wide variety of subjects including: the legal regulation of athletes, polygamy and regulation of the family, Jewish law, and more. Professor Crincoli’s current research primarily focuses on the intersection of sports law and business with contract law, creditor rights, and private ordering. In addition, Professor Crincoli serves as a member of the executive committee of the Jewish Law Section of the American Association of Law Schools (AALS). In his free time, Professor Crincoli can often be found playing or coaching ice hockey, riding in the mountains on his snowboard, and training his dogs.
