International Student
Touro Law Center welcomes qualified applicants from abroad to apply to our programs. Students who are not citizens or permanent residents of the United States typically enter the U.S. in non-immigrant F-1 student status and are considered as International Students.
International applicants must meet the same
admissions requirements, receive the same merit scholarship consideration and pay the same tuition as U.S. applicants.
An applicant with a degree from a non-U.S. institution must demonstrate that it is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree awarded by a regionally accredited institution in the U.S. Official transcripts must be submitted directly to the
Credential Assembly Service (CAS) for evaluation and authentication from the institution attended. Transcripts issued to students or sent by students will not be processed.
Form I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility for Non-Immigrant (F-1) Student Status) is required for the application of the student (F-1) visa at a U.S. embassy or Consulate abroad. This form will be issued by the Designated School Official (DSO) at Touro Law after the student has met the following requirements:
- Accepted to the program
- Paid the required tuition deposit
- Satisfied the affidavit of support requirements
International students are required to report to the Law Center’s International Students Office located in the Office of Admissions (Room 301) upon arrival on campus.
