During the week of January 2, 2012 Touro Law students traveled to the Gulf Coast to provide legal assistance to residents in New Orelans, LA and Biloxi, MI. Both Gulf Coast regions have been devastated by hurricanes in recent years and most recently by the BP oil spill. Thanks to all who participated in the Backpack Pirate Challenge - collecting school supplies for Long Island's homeless children. The drive was a HUGE success thanks to everyone's generosity and support.

Seen here is planning for the kick off of Touro Law's newest group pro bono project. Touro Law's WBA will be presenting at the Suffolk Network For Adolescent Pregnancy. They will provide information on rights and responsibilities of teen mothers. The program will mark the inauguration of the WBA's new group pro bono project to work with volunteer attorneys to provide ongoing legal information to these girls - many of whom are having difficulty understanding the legal issues surrounding them. This picture is from a planning held on October 24, 2012 to plan for the December 6 conference to be held at Touro law where hundreds of clients and professionals will meet.
