| Law school is tough. Your professors will challenge you to work harder and smarter than you ever have before. You will redefine how you reason, write, and speak. You will learn new ways of analyzing and solving problems. But at Touro, all of this is accomplished without the excessive stress and anxiety so common in many law schools.
You are not on your own. Touro faculty members have day and evening office hours and observe an open door policy. Every entering student is assigned a faculty advisor, matched by common background or interest area, for discussions on any aspect of the law school experience: study strategy, course selection, career goals, personal problems, whatever comes to mind. Peer support is also available: outstanding upper-level students work as Teaching Assistants, attending first-year substantive courses and presenting weekly sessions focusing on the application of material covered in class.
