Business Organizations

Using simulations, this course teaches basic practice skills and utilizes the principles and methodology of experiential learning. Students meet with clients and assist them in selecting the appropriate form of business enterprise and in preparing partnership, corporate, and other business documents.

Family Law

This course uses simulations to introduce students to the skills of interviewing, counseling, negotiation, and drafting. Students handle a family law case from initial client contact to successful resolution.

Trusts & Estates

In the course of simulations, students acquire the full range of lawyering skills: they question witnesses in a will contest, draft trust provisions, conduct direct and cross examination in a will construction proceeding, and counsel a client on an estate planning issue.
