| Touro Law Center recognizes the value of introducing students to a variety of legal practice options and has created the Public Interest Law Fellowship program to encourage and facilitate the placement of students in public interest legal work.
Each year, a limited number of upper-division students are selected for summer positions with public interest law employers. These Fellows receive a $3,500 stipend from the Law Center for 10 weeks of employment. To be eligible, students must submit an application detailing their commitment to public interest employment, including a current law school transcript and letters of reference. Finalists are interviewed by the Public Interest Law Fellowship Committee and recommended to the dean for appointment.
