Special events are an important part of law school life. Each week, the law
school calendar is replete with speakers, visitors, panels and symposia, all
contributing to the spirit of inquiry and stimulating intellectual life of our
community. Most events fall into one of two categories. Academic enrichment
events bring distinguished speakers to the school to lecture,
participate in classes or join in panel discussions. Fund-raising events
bring together students, alumni and special friends and are an important source
of revenue for the law school. For more information about fundraising events,
