We will host a screening of the documentary Crime After Crime, followed by a panel discussion with principals of the heartbreaking story the film recounts.Crime After Crime is about the dramatic legal battle to free Debbie Peagler, a woman imprisoned for over a quarter century due to her connection to the murder of the man who abused her. The film follows the efforts of Joshua Safran and Nadia Costa who represented Peagler pro bono throughout a multi‐year appeal that brought to light long‐lost witnesses, new evidence, perjured testimony and official corruption.

Attorneys Safran and Costa and Natasha Wilson, Debbie Peagler’s daughter, will join us for a reception at 6:00 pm screening will begin at 6:30 pm, panel discussion to follow.
